Hey Everyone,

The most senior Buddhist monk in Cambodia was laid to rest last week after a state funeral. Venerated as the country's most consequential cleric of the past half century, Venerable Tep Vong is credited with helping to re-establish the faith in the aftermath of the liberation from the Khmer Rouge.

The cremation ceremony - over which HM King Norodom Sihamoni presided - was preceded by a grand procession which was punctuated by the vivid orange robes of hundreds of monks.

The next 2 photos are from the procession early in the morning. As you might imagine street closures impacted morning rush hour in this section of the city.

The next 2 photos are from the recessional in late afternoon. Don't know what was contained in the floats, but please allow your imagination to run away with you. And yes, street closures impacted the afternoon rush too, albeit to a lesser extent.

It was a privilege, as always, to have a front row seat, as history writes a new chapter.
