Hello Everyone,

Happy December, and Seasons Greetings.

Something more mundane for this post - breakfast, which, for my money, is the essential meal of the day. I've met people who, as a rule (or custom) don't eat breakfast. This, for the record, is weird, but what is life if we cannot accommodate each other's peculiarities. I mean, some people (loved ones included) love marshmallows and root beer, while I on the other hand cannot comprehend why those things exist.

Back to morning's first bite. If you're in a hurry you can take it 'to go'. I would imagine people do this everywhere. In this part of the world it is not uncommon to see vendors who sell breakfast on what Americans would call a 'food truck'. Here the vehicle is more likely a cart transported from location to location by a motor bike. They would set up in front of an establishment that has not yet opened for the day. Once the morning rush hour is over the enterprise moves on, but the set up looks something like this:

I'm guessing some of the vendors sell other meals later in the day. Actually, don't have to imagine it. Many vendors who sell coconuts (mostly for the refreshing water contained therein) set up at daybreak and many are still selling (often around the corner to optimize exposure to customers) as night falls. Gotta respect the hustle.
